Brief Bio

Tony Tony Chopper was the sixth member to join the Straw Hats and he is the ship's doctor. Chopper is an interesting character because he is half reindeer and half human. This is because he at a special type of devil fruit called the Human-Human fruit that allows him to speak and be part human. One downside to this power is that many people find him scary and think he is a monster. As the ship doctor, Chopper has his work cut out for him, from dealing with Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji's reckless fighting and getting injured. Chopper Joined the crew after serving as a doctor's assistant on an island on the grand line called the Drum Kingdom. Chopper learned how to practice medicine from a crazy thief and aspiring surgeon and later from a witch doctor who lived in an abandoned castle in the Kingdom. Luffy convinced Chopper to join the crew after he defeated a crazy pirate/king who had stolen all of the doctors from the island. Chopper was sceptical at first because he was so used to people thinking that he was a monster, but later on, Luffy convinced Chopper that the crew cared for him and that he would be accepted among them.

Devil Fruit

Chopper has a very unique devil fruit that some would say isn't that useful, but Chopper finds ways to make it work well for him. His devil Fruit is called the Human-Human fruit. It allows Chopper to become a human at will. If a human had eaten this fruit, It would have been pointless, but because Chopper is a reindeer, it makes it much more useful for him. In his normal state, Chopper usually stays as half human and half reindeer, but he can transform into seven other forms that he can use to attack, defend, jump, and run. He also has another ability that he can use if he eats something called a rumble ball, this ability is to turn into an absolute monster.
