Brief Bio

Nico Robin was born on the island of Ohara. She was born to an island full of archeologists. So while growing up, her only goal was to follow in the footsteps of the adults around her. Unbeknownst to her, her island had a hidden secret. Her island was attacked by the navy, and they killed all of the villagers to make sure that the secret would not spread. She was spared by Former Admiral Kuzan. She escaped and vowed to get revenge on the Navy and find out the secret of her island. The navy eventually figured out that a girl had escaped from the island and began a worldwide manhunt to try and find her. She and the Strawhats met as a result of this chase, and Luffy convinced her to join the crew. She was very opposed to the idea at the beginning, as it could have put her, or the crew in danger. She underestimated Luffy's power, and he managed to save her from her past. She spent the time skip honing her skills while constantly on the run from the navy.

Devil Fruit Ability

Nico Robin has the Flower-Flower fruit, which gives her the ability to sprout limbs on any surface within a certain range of her. She is known to use the power to manifest extra arms on her back to give her extra strength and grip, and she manifests arms on walls to help hold on to people and things. It is a very versatile and powerful ability, shown by the kidnapping of her for her ability during the Water Seven arc. She was hunted as a wanted criminal for a long time, and during the time skip, she increased the range of her ability and the strength of the limbs. One of the only weaknesses if you could even call it that, is that her extra limbs act the same as regular limbs. She feels pain when one of her extra limbs is hurt, and that can lead to enemies having an easier target. But this also allows her to sprout an extra ear to eavesdrop, as she showed this during the Thriller Bark arc
