Brief Bio

Franky is the ship carpenter and shipwright for the Strawhats and he was also the eighth person to join the crew. Franky is also a very interesting character in the series. This is because he is a cyborg, meaning he is half human and half robot. As a child he worked for a ship building company and this company was asked to build a train that could travel across water. They built it, but while it was in use, Franky got on the tracks and it hit him. Even though he was hit pretty hard and he was ripped up, he was still alive and he washed up on a boat with a lot of mechanical pieces on board and he rebuilt himself back into a functioning person and made himself run on Cola instead of having to eat. When he was older, Franky got into some trouble with the world government because Franky had some information about a catastrophic weapon. The straw Hats also had one of their crews, Nico Robin, taken so when they rescued her, they also rescued Franky. After that, Franky built an amazing ship and asked the Straw Hats to sail on it. Luffy said yes, but only if Franky came along with them as their shipright. That is how Franky became a member of the Straw Hats.

Devil Fruit

Franky does not have a devil fruit ability but he is still a very good fighter because of his super strength, weapons on his body, and from his fighting inventions. Firstly, Franky has an enormous amount of strength from him being part robot and from his modifications that he made to himself during the time skip. He has multiple attacks that make use of his massive strength. Secondly, during the time skip, Franky made his body bigger so that he could fit more stuff inside himself to use in fights. Some of these things are cannons in his shoulders, smaller hands that come out of his big normal hands, he can shoot off his right hand which is connected to him with a chain, missles that he shoots with his left hand, and a laser beam that he shoots out of both hands together. Finaly, Franky has built many machines to help him and the other Straw Hats on the battlefield. The inventions that he has made so far are the Shark Submarine, the Mini Merry landing boat, the Dinosaur tank, and the Rhino motorcycle. These inventions are all very impressive, but the most impressive is when Franky combines the Rhino Bike and the Dinosaur tank to create a weapon stocked suit of armour/robot called General Franky.
