Zoro

Brief Bio

Roronoa Zoro is the Second Mate of the Straw Hats. Zoro is also a sword man and one of the best and most frightful fighters on the Straw Hats behind Luffy. Zoro joined The pirates in the early chapters of the series when Luffy rescued him from a Marine base after Zoro was arrested for being a bounty hunter. Even though Zoro was a pirate bounty hunter and Luffy was a pirate, Luffy convinced him to leave that life behind and to have a good time traveling the seas with Luffy. Also, Zoro has the goal to become the greatest swords man in the world and Luffy said that if he joined his crew, Luffy would help him on his dream. Zoro is a vital part of the crew even though it may not seem like it, he fights well and follows Luffy's orders and that is why he is the second mate.

Devil Fruit

Zoro does not use a devil fruit, but is still incredibly powerful with his sword skills combined with his armament haki. He is crucial in a fight and is the second strongest fighter in the straw hat crew. Zolo uses his swords in a way that no one else does, he holds one in each hand and one in his mouth, all amounting to three swords. Zoro is one of the only people who use this sword style and he has shown through countless battles that it is extremely effective and dangerous. Zoro is also a great fighter because of his incredible strength. you can find Zoro throughout the series constantly lifting stupidly heavy weights and training all the time. One last ability of Zoro is that he has the power of Armament haki which he uses to harden his swords and to make a layer of armour around himself.
