Brief Bio

Sanji was the fifth member to join the Straw hats and holds the position of cook on board. Sanji joined the crew after working for a long time on the seagoing restaurant called the baratie. Sanji was the assistant head cook there until Luffy came along. When Luffy came the Baratie was attacked by some other pirates who wanted to pillage the restaurant, but after a long, long fight, Sanji, Luffy and the rest of the straw hats managed to defeat the other pirates, even though they were massively outnumbered. Sanji had a dream when he was a little boy and he still has the same dream today, which is to see a place called the All Blue. The All Blue is an ocean where mermaids and other beautiful creatures live and thrive. Luffy told Sanji that if Sanji joined his pirate crew, he would take him to see the All Blue on their adventures.

Devil Fruit

Sanji does not have the power of a devil fruit, but he is still a very valuable fighter in the pirate crew. Sanji uses his legs to fight by kicking with incredible force. Sanji has also learned in later chapters of the book to be able to heat up his legs with friction until they are very hot and then he kicks with them, leaving his enemies with burning wounds. Sanji has also learned a special technique where he can kick off of the air to fly. He does this by kicking off of air currents with his strong legs so that he could fly through the air and attack his enemies from different angles. He also has Armament haki, which he uses to harden his legs when he attacks, and observational haki, which he uses to sense things around him and to find his friends or enemies.
